John Hayson Milton Apartments

  A project by john Hayson

Milton Apartments was built on land sold by H Investments International Pty Limited formerly Mominvest C, a company owned by Sydney-based John Hayson. The 3240sq m property fronts Milton Railway Station on Railway Terrace and was an amalgamation of eight housing lots with development approval for 243 apartments and shops.

Two towers of 12 and 20 floors comprising of one and two bedroom apartments were planned providing high-quality, yet affordable accommodation for young people, who wanted to live less than 2km from the CBD.
This is a mixed development with retail shops and residential apartments in one of Brisbane's cafe precincts offering inner city living in a highly sought after environment.

Located across the road from the Milton railway station, a close walk to the rivercat, only 1.5 kilometres from the City centre and even closer to Suncorp Stadium, these apartments offer stylish living and easy transportation.

There have been many changes to the development over the years. The initial approval provided for ground floor retail and approximately 54 apartments. Planning changes encouraging transport oriented development allowed increased density resulting in a residential tower of 20 storeys with 100 apartments and commercial tower of 8 storeys with ground floor shops. A final redesign resulted in two residential towers of 243 apartments with ground floor retail.Readmore
